Lillian Bridgman

Lillian Denson Bridgman, 81, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 after a long illness. She was born May 15, 1928. She was a member of First Christian Church of Petersburg and the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge Chapter 1296. She was the daughter of the late Dennis â??Leftyâ? and Ruth Faison Denson and the widow of John Hartwell Bridgman. She was predeceased by granddaughter Kristy Bridgman and a brother Garland Denson. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth M. Hatfield (Danny); sons, Mitchell W. Mackiewicz (Cindy), William Bridgman (Diane), Edward A. Bridgman (Debbie), and Robert L. Bridgman (Sandy); brother, Dennis M. Denson (Nickie); sisters, Norma D. Kilpatrick (Jim) and Jean D. Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Petersburg, P.O.
