LILLIAN MAE BRADSHAW DUCK, age 85, a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Wed. Nov. 26, 2008. A resident of Wakefield and a native of Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee & Lillie Williford Bradshaw. She was the widow of Percy Lee Duck and mother of the late Robert T. Duck. Mrs. Duck was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Smithfield.
She is survived by her daughter Beatrice D. Huber and husband David of Wakefield, three granddaughters, Sharon H. Atkins, Patricia H. Warriner and Janet H. Cowling and four great grandchildren, Carrie Atkins, Regan Cowling, Marc Cowling and Forrest Atkins.
A graveside funeral service will be held in Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters, VA on Sat. Nov. 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM by the Rev. Anne Beale. The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield on Friday evening from 6:00 â?? 8:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
