Lillian Leone Heither, 86, of Disputanta, Va. died Sunday, October 22, 2006. She was was born in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Heither was a former teacher in Detroit (MI) Public School System, one of the first women in Law Enforcement in Detriot & Livonia, (MI) Police Department, directed and wrote circumlum for the Police Academy in the State of N.J., a member of AAUW, Pasco County (FL)Garden Club, and Richmond, (VA) Orchid Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Gagermier Johns , a son Eldon Edward Heither II. , two sisters, Marie Bloom and Mary Jane Kinzler, and a brother Robert Johns. Surviving are her husband, Eldon Edward Heither of Disputanta, a daughter, Candace Lee Thomas , of Disputanta, a brother, Charles Johns of Saline, MI, her sister, Frances Gainor of Harbor Beach, MI. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, at 2:00 P.M., October 28, 2006 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
