Lillian W. Dortmundt

Lillian Elizabeth Wade Dortmundt, 77, of Chester, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Ettrick, VA and had been a lifetime resident of the Chesterfield County area. Mrs. Dortmundt was a long time member of the Hopewell Church of Christ and was retired from the housekeeping department of John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Howard G. and Nora Stokesberry Wade. Mrs. Dortmundt is survived by three daughters, Nora Cantrell and her husband Norman of Locust Grove, AR , Rose Marie Dortmundt of Waynesboro, VA, Naomi Clark and her husband Stephen of Powhatan, VA., 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a sister, Iva Norris, a brother, Horace Wade, both of Hopewell, one sister-in-law, Cora Wade and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 12, 2004 at 7:00PM in the Hopewell Church of Christ, 4th and Cawson Streets, Hopewell, VA with the Mural Worthey, pastor officiating, assisted by retired pastor, Billy Harper. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
