Lillie Harrup

Lillie Stevens Harrup, 93 of Hopewell, died Sunday, September 27, 2009. She was born in Nansemond County, VA and had been a long time resident of Hopewell. Mrs. Harrup was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew C and Essie Lee Harrrell Stevens, her husband, Henry Thomas Harrup, Sr., a son, Gerald Harrup, grandson, Kevan Harrup and a son-in-law, Harold â??Bubbaâ? Fulcher. Mrs. Harrup is survived by a daughter, Minnie Lee Fulcher of Chesterfield County, VA, three sons, James W. Harrup and his wife, Pat, Henry T. Harrup, Jr., Gene E. Harrup, all of Hopewell, ten grandchildren, Julie Fulcher, Laura Fulcher, Amy Hatcher, Jennifer Thompson and her husband Doug, Larry Fulcher, Andy Fulcher, Gregg Harrup and his wife, Carrie, Todd Harrup, Ellen Radcliff and her husband Wiley and Mark Harrup and his wife Georgia, and 22 Great Grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA., with the Rev. Wayne Rickman, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk Street, Hopewell, VA., 23860. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
