Lillie Marek

Lillie M. Marek, 87, of Dinwiddie, passed away on July 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Warren Harding Marek. She is survived by four children, Wayne Alan Marek, Steve Craig Marek, June Marek Pate, and Cynthia Marek; five grandchildren, Christopher Alan Marek, Johnathan Brett Marek, Noah Andrew Pate, Joshua Daniel Pate, and Sarah McMillan King; and six great-grandchildren, Colton Bryant Marek, Ayden Alexander Marek, Kamdyn Riley Pate, Sullivan Ryan King, Brooks Monroe King and Lilly Morgan Pate and Kenneth Williams a loyal and faithful friend. Lillie was a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie County and a lifelong member of West End Baptist Church. She also enjoyed the Burlington Garden Club. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Sunday, July 8 from 3-5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at West End Baptist Church on Monday, July 9 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West End Baptist Church or in memory of Lillie M.
