Lillie Wicker

Lillie Nick Wicker, 85, of Hopewell died, Thursday, February 25, 2010. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and was a retired dental assistant and receptionist with Dr. Edward Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Daisy Smart Nick. Surviving are her husband Samuel Thomas Wicker, Sr. of Hopewell, her son, Samuel Thomas Wicker, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Prince George, three step-grandchildren, Rhonda Zazzaretti, Richard Lynch and Wendy Lynch, six step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2-3pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 am in Appomattox Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Reed, associate pastor of West end Presbyterian Church ,officiating.
