Lily Gray May, of Disputanta passed away August 15, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Blair and Birdie Lowen Montgomery. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gordon; eight siblings; and son-in-law, Gilbert Hanzlik Sr. Mrs. May retired from Allied Chemical with 31 years of service, and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was a very caring person and loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clyde Edward May, Sr.; a son, Clyde E. May, Jr. and wife, Diane; daughter, Anne M. Hanzlik; five grandchildren, Gilbert Hanzlik Jr. and wife, Stephanie, Deborah Anne Hanzlik, Michael T. Hanzlik and wife, Karen, Beverly Anne Honaker and husband, Steve, Christopher H. Gordon and wife, Tamera; twelve great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Daniel H. Gordon and wife, Vangie; one brother; three sisters; a special niece, Nancy Gilbert; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
