Linda Ann Elder Ozmar

Linda Ann Elder Ozmar, 61, of Petersburg, VA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017. A native of Charlotte County, VA, she was preceded in death by her father, John Bernard Elder, Jr. A dedicated EMT, Linda volunteered for Dinwiddie Volunteer Rescue Squad for nearly 30 years, and served in numerous leadership roles within the organization. She is survived by her husband, Capt. (Ret.) Greg Ozmar; mother, Betty Elder; daughter, Kristin Milton; step-daughter, Amber Branch (Justin); grandson, Drew; siblings, Kathy Beadles (Ronnie), Ginger Rogers (Elton), Joe Elder (Debi), Lisa Washburn (Nathan), Cindy Martin (William), Tim Elder, and Lori Emory (Billy); brother-in-law, Butch Ozmar (Susan), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
