Linda Bailey

Linda Rice Bailey, 59 of Matoaca died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Daniel B. Rice, Sr. and Edith Louise Toney Rice and mother of the late Connie Sue Bailey. She was an employee of the Produce Center #2 for over 20 years and the Bank of McKenney. She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Vernard Bailey; son, Wayne Bailey and wife, Annette; daughter, Vicky Burijon and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Scott Bailey, Tiffany Bailey, Bethany Burijon, Lydia Burijon and Luke Burijon; siblings, Margaret Patterson, Rachel Williams, Joyce Andrews, Gloria Ashby, Peggy Stephens, Grace Crowe, Robert Rice, Everette Rice, Wayne Rice and James Rice. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
