Linda Katherine Booth, 76, of Chester, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Del Rio, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Wintz Oran Belcher and Margaret Dunlap Belcher. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lucius Wilmer Booth; and brother, Oran Belcher. She is survived by her son, Gary Booth (Sharon); daughters, Lea Allison Frederick of Wiley, Texas, and Jennifer Brockman of Henderson, Nevada; numerous grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Treviso; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was well known by many for her exceptional cooking skills and loved to spoil family and friends with her cooking. She enjoyed playing cards as a pastime and was pretty good at it. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus, Christ. She was especially fond of her church family at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she was also a member of a very loving group of ladies in her Sunday School class. She also enjoyed studying God's word with her Bible Study Fellowship family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church, Colonial Heights. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service.
