Linda Brady

Linda Drake Brady, 64, of Hopewell, died Monday, January 17, 2011 in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. She was a lifelong resident of Hopewell. Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Irma Hamlin Drake, Jr. and her husband, Clarence Grayson Brady. Surviving are her sister, Nancy Drake Johnson of Morganton, GA., her three brothers, William Lewis Drake, Sr. and wife, Margaret of Lenoir City, TN., Thomas Eugene Drake and wife, Bettye of Williamsburg , Gerald Hamlin Drake and wife, Judy of Huntsville, Ala., fourteen nieces and nephews and nineteen great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home at 11 AM with Rev. Bruce Catron, pastor of First Congregrational Christian Church, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
