Linda Lou Bruce

Linda Lou Bruce, 68, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born in France and was the daughter of the late Richard Garyantes. Linda had retired from Virginia Power after many years of dedicated service and was a devoted member of City Point Restoration Church in Hopewell. She is survived by her loving husband, Noel W. Bruce; one son, Samuel Vick; a granddaughter, Samantha Vick; her mother, Doris Garyantes; three siblings, Terri Beasley, Janet Braddy and Richard Garyantes (Laura); and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at City Point Restoration Church in Hopewell, VA with the Rev. Thurman Collier, officiating. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to City Point Restoration Church in memory of Linda Bruce.
