Linda Bethel Burnish

Linda Bethel Burnish, 80, of S. Chesterfield, VA passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Hazel Bethel; a son, Stephen Paul Hawk; and a sister, Arleen Ferryman. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, James A. Burnish; daughter, Linda M.H. Tomlin (Henry); daughter, Susan McCoy (David); son, Richard J. Hawk (Janice); grandchildren, Angela McCoy, Stacy McCoy, Christine Hawk, and Stephen Hawk; sisters, Helen Dhume, Carole Shaffer (John), Pamela Bethel, Joyce Whipp (Jim); brother, Walter Bethel (Betty); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was the former Secretary of VSWO of the ELCA. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 9601 Hull Street Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23236. In lieu of flowers; contributions can be made to the church or a charity of your choice. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
