Linda Ann Carlton

Linda Ann Carlton, 70, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Born in Laurinburg, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Vada Skipper Coates; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Wallace Eugene Carlton; two daughters, Laurie Pierson and Tracy Parrish; a granddaughter, Corrine Wright; and two great-granddaughters, Aubrey Wright and Ariabella Seaborne. Mrs. Carlton enjoyed her many collections and she loved watching the Nancy Grace Show. She loved Christmas and caring for her many grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Carlton is survived by her daughter, Paula Renee Lang and her husband, Ronald; five grandchildren, Kenneth W. Cave, Jr., Derek Parrish, Dalton Parrish, Michelle Capell and Austin Capell; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Coates and Marion Eugene Coates; two sisters, Helen Hester and Barbara Webster; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve King, officiating.
