Linda Gurganus Cook, 58, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday March 26, 2006 after several years of declining health. Linda was a member of the Church of Later Day Saints of Colonial Heights. She was the daughter of the late Annie Laura Wilson. She was predeceased by a son Bruce Wayne Stumbo. She is survived by her husband Donald E. Cook of Crewe , four children, Larry J. Stumbo Jr. of Dinwiddie, Alma Aguilera of Ettrick, Mary Dimirack and husband, George Jr. of Colonial Heights, Victoria A. Cook of Colonial Heights, brother, Gene G, Gurganus and wife Rhonda of Chester, four step-children, Rhonda St Amand, Renee Jones, Alfred Cook, & Luanne Balling all of Fort Myers, Florida, sisters, Brenda Haskett and friend Charles of Hopewell, Betty Hinchey of Petersburg, Rebecca Simpson-Ray of Ettrick, Angelina Priode and husband Joey of Hopewell, Laura Faye Marroquin and husband Gilbert of Chester, Sally Ann Wilson of Hopewell, 13 grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, long time friends Juan Arredondo & Carol A. Williamson. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 29, 7:00-8:30 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service and a funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday March 30, 2006 at 1:00 PM with Bishop Lauchner officiating.
