Linda Dolan

Linda Schenker Dolan, age 60, of Chester, VA, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011, set free from her battle with cancer. She was born in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Russell and Grace Berling Schrenker. Linda was also preceded by her mother from the age of six, Ruth Ann Schrenker. She was a retired Service Manager with A T & T, and a dedicated volunteer with her childrenâ??s schools throughout their education. Linda was a member of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). A member of St. Annâ??s Catholic Church, St. Annâ??s Womenâ??s Spirituality Group, St. Annâ??s Meal Ministry, and St. Annâ??s Food Pantry. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Mark Dolan; children, Sara Grace Dolan and Matthew Dolan; brothers; Rusty, Gregory, Tony, and Patrick Schrenker; sister, Leann Painter and husband, Dave; mother-in-law, Eleanor Dolan; and numerous loving brothers and sisters-in-law; and special friends, Mark and Anna Reilly; and their children, Brandon, Caitlin, and Meghan. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Johnston Willis Medical Center, especially Brian, Marty, Sung, Buhna, Dale, Courtney, Jennifer, Gretchen, and Dawn. Also the entire staff in Transportation â??wheelsâ?, especially Gloria and Mike. The family will receive friends at St. Annâ??s Catholic Church on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, August 19, from 9 to 10 a.m. A memorial mass will follow on Friday at 10 a.m. with interment afterwards in the St. Annâ??s Cemetery, Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions are made to the St. Annâ??s Food Pantry at 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
