Linda Leigh Pruitt Eastep, fondly known as â??Momma Eâ? went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in Southside Regional Medical Center. â??Momma Eâ? was born in Charlottesville, VA and had been a long time resident of the Prince George area. She was an active member and the organist at Salem United Methodist Church in Burrowsville and enjoyed contributing weekly recipes to the Prince George Journal, Dinwiddie Monitor and the Sussex/Surry Dispatch. â??Momma Eâ? was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Lillian Taylor Pruitt. She is survived by her children, Doug Eastep and his wife Sandy, of Bland, VA, Cris Watkins and her husband Trey of Louisa, VA, Todd Eastep and his wife Tammie of Yanceyville, NC, Paula Robinson and her husband Bubba of Burrowsville, VA, Scott Eastep and his wife Della of Bainbridge, IN, Jon Eastep and his wife Dana of Iowa Park, TX, eleven grandchildren, Tyler and Katie Eastep, Hunter, Will and Hasher Watkins, Elizabeth and Katherine Eastep, Greeley and Gunnar Eastep, Andy and Taybor Eastep, and a brother, Kenny Pruitt. She is also survived by the father of her children and devoted friend, Charlie Eastep. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Beverly Nelan, pastor of Salem United Methodist Church officiating.
