Linda Golden

Linda Lathrop Golden, 68 of Chester, passed away February 17, 2012. She retired from Chesterfield County Schools in 2003, after a thirty year teaching career. She taught at Chester Middle School, and then taught at the new Carver Middle School until her retirement.
Linda was a volunteer with the Refugee and Immigration Service of the Catholic Diocese, Centenary United Methodist Church, Chester Library, and a Reading Mentor at Chimbarazo Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband, Kim B. Golden, daughter, Elizabeth Haba (Aaron), of Camano Island, WA, son Joshua Ferris ( Catherine Lombard), of Brussels, BE.; brother, Larry Lathrop (Peggy), of Burlington, IA; and two grandsons, Jonathan Lombard-Ferris and William Lombard-Ferris. She was preceded in death by her son, Jared Ferris.
The family will receive friends from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, Friday, February 24th, 2012 at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, February 25th, 2012 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 410 E. Grace Street, Richmond, Virginia.
