Linda Bland Staton

Linda B. Staton, 69, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late, James V. and June Jefferson Bland and late brother, Johnny Bland. Mrs. Staton is survived by her loving husband, E. Gordon Staton, Jr.; two children, John O'Brien and Jill O'Brien (Shane); five grandchildren, Dylan, Chloe, Nola, Oona and Uly; and three siblings, James Bland (Sue), Sharon Heiberg and Jeff Bland (Cindy). A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
