Linda Sue Thompson

Linda Sue Thompson, 72, of South Chesterfield, VA passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in Sparta, NC she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Flora Alice Anderson Hines; and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Gilbert; and a sister, Betty Perry. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, John Thompson; a son, Kevin Leonard; five grandchildren, Preston, Afton, Danielle, Brett and Dayton; three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mary Sale, Judy Petree, John Hines, Jerry Hines and Dorothy Saferight; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ray Haskett, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
