Linda Welch

Linda Fleming Welch, 63, of Disputanta, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was predeceased by her father Sol B. Fleming. She was a truck driver for ten years and would take her granddaughter Crystal with her on numerous trips. Linda loved flowers and worked diligently in her flower garden and when not working with her flowers she was crocheting; she loved doing Arts and Crafts. She is survived by her mother, Violet Webster of Dinwiddie; two daughters, Tonya J. Welch and Patricia B. Thomas; two sons, John W. Welch and Jerry W. Welch; six grandchildren, Crystal J. Derksen (Jesse), Amber D. Jenkins, John W. Welch, III, Heather N. Welch all of Disputanta, Alana B. Welch of North Carolina and Daniel W. Riggins of Colonial Heights; two great grandchildren, Danielle J. Derksen and Jesse T. Jr. both of Disputanta; six brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at a later date.
