Linda Lamberson Wheeler

Linda Lamberson Wheeler, 69, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Wayne Wheeler; father, Raymond C. Lamberson and mother, Charlotte Fenn Meier; brother, David Lamberson. Linda retired from the Prince George School System as the Director of Food Service after 20 plus years of service. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and her dog, “Tucker”. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Haydt (Bryant), Trudy Hayes (Brian), Perry Wheeler (Serena); grandchildren, Troy Cimburke, Hunter Haydt (Stephanie), Austin Hayes, Jeremy Perkinson, Caitlin Haydt, Bryson Hayes, and Logan Haydt; sister, Judy Bailey (Mike); brother, Danny Lamberson; sister-in-law, Barbara Allen; step-father, Leonard Meier, Jr.; loving companion, “Tucker”; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
