Linda Wright

Linda Wright, 67, of Carson, VA, spread her wings and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Born in South Hill, VA, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Jordan Halderman. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Halderman and Randy Halderman. Mrs. Wright enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Michael Wright; children, Tracy L. Childers and husband, Scott, Patricia L. Cooke, and Charles R. “Bobby” Jones; grandchildren, James Childers, Nicholas Childers, and Vivien Jones; siblings, Frances Mims and husband, Kenny, Julia Cumbea and husband, Freddy, Dennis Halderman, and Berkley Halderman. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 53 Rock Drive, Toccoa, GA 30577.
