Linwood P. Keeton

Linwood â??Linnieâ? Preston Keeton, born on August 10, 1945, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Margaret Keeton, and a brother, Harold â??Busterâ?, Jr. Linnie is survived by his son, Jeffrey and his wife, Karen; two grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley; his brother, Thomas; and countless friends. Linnie was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran. He spent his post-war time as a Long Haul Trucker, logging over four million miles throughout the course of his trucking career. He was also an avid race car fan and sponsored two cars locally. He hopes everyone will come to the Virginia Motor Speedway in Saluda, Virginia on Saturday nights to respectively cheer on, carâ??s #22 and #25, Junior and Harold. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in Maury Cemetery, 2700 Maury Street, Richmond, Virginia, 23224.
