Linwood Upshaw Jr.

Linwood Upshaw, Jr., 62, of Chester, VA passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenwood Upshaw, Sr. and Bernice Upshaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Janis Upshaw; son, Jobette Upshaw and wife Carrie; daughter, Bionca Jones; sisters, Grace Upshaw and Laverne Brown; grandchildren, Jasmine, Angelo, Hailey, Tyson and Cameron; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Linwood was an avid fisherman and a race car Enthusiasts. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the funeral home.
