Lisa Lynda Watkins Faber

Lisa Lynda Watkins Faber, 57, of Brightwood, VA passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at home with her faithful and loving husband, Rob, by her side. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Watkins and Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Hamner. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Rob) Maurice Faber; her parents, Jean Morgan (Bobby) and Lawrence Watkins (Janet); children, Melissa A. Kimmel (Mark) and Timothy D. Love (Keli); brother, Michael T. Watkins (Joyce); step-sisters, Rita Stocks (Sam) & Mary Anne Casey; grandchildren, Koryn Kimmel, Kamryn Kimmel, MJ Kimmel and Bryce Love; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved her. Lisa was an avid bowler and enjoyed competing in a league. She loved to ride in the mountains where she witnessed a wild bear for the first time. She will be truly missed. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thankyou to everyone at the University of Virginia who tried their best to help Lisa battle melanoma for 3 years and to New Century Hospice who were so faithful to Lisa and Rob, especially Dan Hyatt.
