Lisa Yvette Norwood

Lisa Yvette Norwood, 57, of Colonial Heights, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. She was born in Chesterfield, VA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Atkins Rathbone; and a brother.
She is survived by her brother, Robert W. Rathbone (Rose); two nephews, Michael Rathbone and Mark Adkins, Jr.; and a host of friends.
Lisa Norwood lived at Good Neighbor Homes in Colonial Heights where she became family to everyone there and the staff. She enjoyed collecting various items from baseball cards to coins. She loved to listen to all genres of music, watch her favorite movie, Madea, and play video games. Her favorite meal was steak and mashed potatoes. Lisa is loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
