Lloyd Collins Edwards

Lloyd Collins Edwards, 93, of Chester, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was born in Hope Mills, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Katherine Edwards; and his seven siblings.

He is survived by his four children, Lloyd Phillip Edwards, of Hector, New York, Cathy Myers, of Linden, Virginia, Anthony Michael Edwards, of Winter Springs, Florida, and Tammy Childress of Chesterfield, Virginia; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, with two on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lloyd Edwards was a Navy Veteran, and a retired civil service senior executive. He was an active member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. A funeral service will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
