Logan Franklin Lands, age 5, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on August 28, 2021. Born May 12, 2016, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Teresa Lands. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Hannah Lands; his sister, Alexia Lands; his brothers, Dustin, Jason and Dylan Lands; as well as his nurse, Kelly Coleman and her husband, Ronnie Coleman. Logan is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Lands, maternal grandparents, R. Franklin Zitta, Jr. and Karen Zitta, and maternal great-grandparents, Ramon F. Zitta, Sr. and Myrtle Hooper; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive to cherish Logan’s memory. Logan’s life, though short, made a tremendous impact on everyone he came into contact with. His laugh was enough to brighten even the darkest of days. Although his body was plagued with multiple medical problems, it was evident to everyone that knew him that God had His hand on Logan’s life and was using it to show what a Great Physician He is. The family would like to thank Noah’s Children and VCU Medical Center for the parts they played in giving Logan the best quality of life possible. A home-going celebration will be held at Southside Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA, on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 3:00 pm, with a visitation preceding from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
