Logan "Bumpy" Cleveland Underwood Sr.

On October 26, 2013, God took home another one of His children, Logan Cleveland “Bumpy” Underwood, St. of Church Road, VA. Bumpy is preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Virginia Underwood and Nancy U. Talley; and also by two wives, Oma Purdy Underwood and Margaret Christine Gill Underwood. He is survived by a son, Logan C. Underwood, Jr.; his daughter, Lisa A. Fee and husband, Jerry L.; a son-in-law, Raymond E. Talley, Sr.; seven grandchildren, Raymond Talley, Jr., Angie Costley, Laura Hancock, Steven Pollard, Lindsay Eddins, Alana Underwood and Steven Stevens; fourteen great-grandchildren; seven step children, Darlene Harvanek, Cooper Gill, Jr., Terry Gill, Dixie Lackey, Debbie Watkins, Gloria Doss and Ernest Jones; nine step grand children; and twenty seven step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jonathan Waits, officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
