Lois Goodman Comer, 85, of Chester, Virginia, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was the daughter of Leah Vivian Goodman and David Boyce Goodman of Petersburg. She married Roger and made her home in Chester, VA, working until retirement at Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company.
She is survived by two children, Wanda Ward and David Comer (Heidi); two grandsons, Curt Laprade (Kelley) and Chris Ward (Jackie); two great-grandchildren, Cole Laprade and Saylor Ward; sister-in-law, Georgia Wallace; one nephew, Jay Culpepper (Lori); and cousins, Alta Allgood, Cheryl Earp, Everette and Jeanny Shaw.
Lois and Roger spent free time traveling all over the East Coast, camping with their children, and after retirement, traveling up and down the Intercoastal Waterway to and from the Bahamas on their boat, "The Remoc." She and Roger then moved to their home at Buggs Island Lake, which was definitely her "Happy Place!"
