Lois Dixon Harrison

Lois Dixon Harrison, 84, of Hopewell, VA passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ann Dixon; her loving husband of over 60 years, Kenneth B. Harrison; and her sister, Charlene Temple. She is survived by her daughter, Debra H. Keener; son, James D. Harrison (Lisa); grandchildren, Joshuah Harrison (Saleem Balladin), Jennifer Harrison, Chris Keener (Maureen), Ryan Keener (Ashley), Kyle Keener (Clarissa); great grandchildren, Lauren, Catherine, Jackson, and Austin Keener; brother-in-law, Simmons Temple; and her beloved pets, Ruby, Buster and Benjamin, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Lois was a member of Martin’s Brandon Episcopal Church in Burrowsville, Va. Lois worked at John Randolph Medical Center for over 30 years as a Nurses Aide. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
