Lois Yvonne Yerta

Lois Yvonne Yerta, 76, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on May 30, 2023. Raised in Chesterfield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Maxine Botkin. Mrs. Yerta retired from Eubank Trucks, Inc. after many years as office manager. She also worked for Jenkins Auto Repair Inc. for a number of years prior to Eubanks. She was intimately involved in Schnauzer rescue programs and devoted much time, loving and caring for her many precious Schnauzers. Mrs. Yerta was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Lee Seymour (Tony). She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Steven Paul Yerta Sr.; daughter, Deborah Seymour Harris, her husband, Thomas and their son, Timothy; step-son, Steven Paul Yerta Jr., his wife, Sonya and their three sons, Steven, Spencer, and Samuel; step-daughter, London Vanessa Yerta; a brother, Fredrick Botkin and his sons, Fredrick (Scooter) and Eric. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Road Chester, VA 23831.
