Lola Gregory

Lola Creasy ?BeBe? Gregory, 101, of Hopewell, widow of Charles Newton Gregory, passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at John Randolph Medical Center. Born in Shawsville, VA, she was the oldest of five children of the late James Milton and Ida Helm Creasy. She worked at the Hopewell and Petersburg Telephone Company for many years, was a charter member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, an active member of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Virginia Dahlia Society. Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Sims Abernathy; and a great-grandchild, Amy Nicole Harris. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Sims Kuhl (Bill) and Constance N. Gregory all of Chester; her son, George Gilbert Gregory (Audrey) of Cape Charles, VA; granddaughters, Kathy Abernathy Stiltoner, Krystal Michelle Norris, Denise Abernathy Harris, and Rhonda Gregory Sventina; grandsons, Kenneth ?Alan? Warren, Jeffrey Scott Gregory, Ronald Stuart Warren, and Allen ?Scott? Gibbs; great-granddaughters, Courtney Sodat, Brittney Sodat, Kaitlyn Sodat, Amber Warren, Kaleigh Norris, Megan Burke, Sarah Gregory, Madison Gregory, Kori?lyn Fideli, Nicole Migliazzo, and Kelsi Migliazzo; great-grandsons, Gregory ?Jordan? Norris, Mitchell Sventina, and Kenneth ?Kent? Warren, II. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 9, at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
