Lonnie Wade Kelly

Lonnie Wade Kelly, SFC Retired, 74, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023. He was the son of the late Gurney William Kelly and Eusebia Wade Kelly. Lonnie was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Denise White; brothers, William (Bill) Kelly, Roland Kelly, and Linwood Kelly; and sisters, Elenor Jean Soring, Patricia Ann Hunter, and Georgia Carol Hill.
Lonnie is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Carol Kelly; children, Scotty C. Kelly (Angela) and Steven Kelly (Cherry Andreade); grandchildren, Lindsy Gwaltney (Jon), Amanda Gomez, Samantha Hood, Matthew Kelly, Michael Kelly, Scotty Kelly, Jr. (Aireal), Ryan Kelly (Katerin), and Kendall Wyatt; sister, Wilma Turner; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 am, with a visitation one hour prior at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Avenue, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
