Lora Childers

Lora Branham Childers, age 92, a resident of Riverview Nursing Home, Hopewell, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008. She was born in Wheelwright, KY, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Hall Branham. She later married and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Childers. Mrs. Childers was also preceded in death by eleven siblings. She was a past member of Freewill Baptist Church, in Bypro, KY. Mrs. Childers is survived by her son, Charles K. Childers and wife Gail; grandson, Sean F. Childers and wife Rhonda; and two great grandchildren, Bryan and Ashley, all of Midlothian, VA. A private ceremony was held on her behalf, on Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Chester, VA. A private interment of her remains was held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in the Rosehill Burial Park, Ashland, KY.
