Lorene Dalton Burton

Lorene Gay Worrell Dalton Burton, 83 of Burrowsville, VA, formerly of Pulaski, VA, passed from this world Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lertie and Eliouse Worrell; brother;, Posey Worrell; sister, “Sis” Simmons; husbands, Donald Dalton and Clarence “C.D.” Burton. She is survived by a daughter, Catherine Dalton; son, Dennis Dalton and wife, Karen; two grandsons, Harry and Christopher Shaw; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dottie Crowder; special friend, Bones; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
