Lorene Billings Ford

Lorene Billings Ford, 75, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Born in Pocahontas, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander and Julia Ethel Short Billings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Ford; sisters, Delores Clarkson and Judy Billings; and brother, Ray Billings. Lorene is survived by her daughter, Karen Sheppard and her husband, Andy; grandchildren, Coulter Sheppard and Rorie Sheppard; brothers, Jackie Billings, Alvin Billings, and Alfred Billings; and sister, Helen Sabo. Lorene was a woman of faith and was dedicated to the church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
