Loretta Delores Elmore

Loretta Delores Elmore, 81, of Hopewell, VA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Thelma Rock. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Sam Elmore; daughter, Jennie Elmore Dowd and husband, Ken; stepson, David S. Elmore and wife, Joanne; grandchildren, Cody S. Dowd and wife, Caroline, Correy Dowd Schnupper and husband, Michael, Corey Elmore, and Terra Reese; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Loretta was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Hopewell. A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 pm, Sunday, July 23, 2023, at First Christian Church, 203 N. 11th Ave., Hopewell, VA 23860.
