Lorine "Rena". Ford

Lorine Fisher ?Rena? Ford, 85, of Hopewell, formerly of Petersburg and Colonial Heights, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at John Randolph Nursing Home after a long period of declining health. She was born in Newport News, VA and was preceded in death by her parents, Fred E. and Gladys Lee Fisher and her husband of 35 years, H. G. Ford, Jr. She was a 1938 graduate of Petersburg High School and was a member of Second Baptist Church, Petersburg. She loved wildlife and nature and was especially fond of her dog, Susie. She is survived by two sons, Sherwood L. Ford of New Kent and Jerry M. Ford of Disputanta; cousins, Charlotte M. Houser of Prince George, Lois Biggs of Petersburg and Katherine King of Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
