Louis Melton

Louis S. Melton, 69, of Chester, passed away Friday, August 6, 2004 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was the son of the late Charles F. and Macie Johnson Melton, Sr. He was a retired auto mechanic. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles F. Melton, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Susie Neace Melton; two daughters, Sue Ellen Hicks of Chesterfield, VA and Sue Ann Lawson of Highland Springs, VA; son, Louis Scott Melton of Chester; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, James Melton; and sister, Catherine Martin both of Louisa, VA. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chesterfield Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
