Louise Franks

Louise Chapman Franks, 95 of Hopewell died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Brighter Living. She was born in Isle of Wight, VA and had been a long time resident of this area. Mrs. Franks was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from operations at Allied Chemical Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton L. and Lucy Murphy Chapman, a son, Douglas Wayne Franks and her husband, Norman A. Franks. Mrs. Franks is survived by a sister, Helen C. Nicely of Hopewell, two nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Church of Christ, Fourth & Cawson Streets, with Mural Worthy officiating. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
