Lowel â??Tommyâ? Thomas Christian, 72, of Colonial Heights passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010. He was the son of the late Elmer Tracy and Ollie Williams Christian. Tommy retired from Fort Lee after 35 years of service, was co-owner of Craft & Sewing Box in Colonial Heights for over 20 years, and with his wife, Mary, was a member of Rock Church in Petersburg for over 30 years. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Tommy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary S. Christian; children, Patty Ellis (Kenny), Larry Christian (Lisa), Pennie Walker (Chris), Trina Underhill (Chris) and Jeffery Carson (Patti); grandchildren, Christi Davis (John), Amanda Bahlman (John), Kenny Ellis, II, Thomas Ellis, Larry Christian, Jr. (Megan), Lindsey Christian, Leslie Christian, Levon Christian, Robert Morris, II, M. Rubi Morris, Ivana Morris, Daniel Morris, Elijah Morris, Ethan Underhill, Madison Carson, Cameron Carson, Kennedy Carson, and Chole Carson; great grandchildren, Jonathan Davis, Jordyn Davis, Alivia Davis, John Bahlman, IV, Nicholas Bahlman, Cheyanne Christian and Bella Boyd; and one sister, Sue Dockery and her husband, Doc. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery where the burial will follow with military honors. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
