Lucille Martin

Lucille Virginia Martin, 90, of Prince George, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Bertha Barden; brother, Ernest Barden; and lifelong friend, Herman Rosenstien. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Parrish (Gene Pyles); son, Winston Martin (Pat); brother, Lindwood Barden; grandchildren, Dennis, Kenneth, Kimberly, Joyce, Mike, Terri, Shawn, Curtis, Cindy, Jenny and Tammy; 16 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends. Lucille attended Chesterfield County schools and was employed by M & Q Plastics in Richmond. She loved spending time with family and friends, vacationing in Myrtle Beach and attending Wesley United Methodist Church in Hopewell. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 11th at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park in Enon. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
