Lucille Sanford

Lucille Virginia Sanford, 99, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Thadeus R. & Annie Wells Hudgins. She was the widow of Irving Lawrence Sanford, Sr. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lucille Jaquelyn Sanford. She is survived by her son, Irving L. Sanford, Jr. and wife Barbara of Pawleys Island, SC; four grandchildren, Scott G. Sanford, T.J. Baggett, Mia Thompson and Blair Ramsey; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Blandford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Petersburg Home For Ladies Fellowship Fund, 311 S. Jefferson Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
