Lucy Malone

Lucy Webb Malone, 96 of Petersburg died Tuesday, May 22, 2007. She was the daughter of the late William Gregory and Linda Coker Webb Malone. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church and taught 42 years for the Petersburg School System. She is survived by a great niece, Carrie A. McCann and husband, Bill Brown; great nephew, J. Clint McCann, Jr. and wife, Sarah Fredriksen; three great-great nieces, Jennifer McCann Spivey, Sarah Carter McCann and Annalise Cara McCann; great-great nephew, Ian Carter McCann. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Trinity United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 215 S. Sycamore Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
