Lula “Jeannie” Jane Vaughan, 74, of Matoaca, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late William M. Eason and Emma Brooks Eason. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Wayne Vaughan, Sr.; and siblings, Chris Eason, Terry Young, and Charlie Doyle.
Jeannie had a talent for quilting and enjoyed working her craft. Her greatest passion was her family and she loved them dearly.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Vaughan, Jr. and his wife, Janie; granddaughter, Loren Jane; brother, Mike Young of Lumberton, SC; sister, Dorothy Vincent of Colonial Heights, VA; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at East Matoaca Cemetery, 21576-216 Memorial Ave, S. Chesterfield, VA 23803.
