Lydia White

Lydia Bertha Bresko White, 89, of Chester passed away on Friday, March 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anne Rybar Bresko; husband, Chesley Ford White; brothers, Albert, John, Emmett, and George Bresko and sisters, Anne Comack and Emily Tassell. Lydia retired from Sears & Roebuck. She is survived by her children, Barbara White Jernigan and husband, Gerald of Chesterfield County, VA, Rose White Lough and husband, Willard of Surfside Beach, SC, Chestine F. White-Elmore and husband, Alfred of Chester, VA, Lynda M. White of Big Pine Key, FL, and Ronnie Ford White of Umatilla, FL; grandchildren, Phillip R. Blunt, Jr. of Milledgeville, GA, Frederick Joseph Blunt, II of Burke, VA, Lydia Lee Poole of Tallahassee, FL, Owen Otis Poole, III of Big Pine Key, FL, and John Chesley White Poole of Big Pine Key, FL; sister, Ruth Bresko Hackleman and husband, Bill of Dimmitt, TX and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 27, 2009 at Southlawn Memorial Park.
