Lydia Williams

Lydia Virostek Williams, age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 01, 2008, after a brief illness. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her family and the Lord unconditionally. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jesse A. Williams, Sr. Also surviving are her four children, six grandchildren, and their families. Her son, Jesse A. Williams Jr.; daughter-in-law, Linda Williams; grandson, Brian Williams; and granddaughter, Kerri Williams. Her daughter, Sandra W. Coggins; son-in-law, Thomas Coggins; Grandson, Matthew Coggins, and his wife, Sarah; and grandson, Christopher Coggins and his wife, Allison. Her son, J. Herbert Williams; daughter-in-law, Dianne Williams; grandson, Adam Williams; and granddaughter, Sarah Williams. Her daughter, Cynthia W. Bailey; and son-in-law, David L. Bailey. Lydia was a life long member of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church and the Prince George Womanâ??s Club. She left the education field in 1976 to help her husband own and operate Gale Welding and Machine Co. Inc., where they worked side by side until their joint retirement over 20 years ago. She can now experience a loving reunion in heaven with her parents Edward and Katie Virostek, her brothers, and sisters, Edward Virostek, Victor Virostek, Carol Virostek, Irene Adams, and Ethel Hotz. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with interment in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
